I replacec the driveshaft with a Gforce and will probably go ahead and do the axle also, then my weakest link will be the tranny. Your car is really killing it, the weight hurts for sure. Mine will be 80 lbs over because the of the 6 pt cage. What class were you running that you had to add weight? We have a long waiting list right now and guess what, I'm not on it. Our customers will get the 2650 first and maybe I'll be able to get one before the Camaro Fest. We just have some other 2650 LS projects that are coming out first since they car so close to the COPO 2650 they decided to bring that one out first.

I was in a 17 inch tire class that was open to all zl1 and ctsv at Cadillac attack. I Had to run up against 15 inch tire cars and 17 inch tire cars with my 18s and was still cutting better 60 foots then they all did. The class had a 4300 lbs weight minimum. I got a break for the stock 1.7 blower 150 lbs so was allowed 4150 but my car is typicality 4020 race weight on my test and tune days. So was able to back up my other 9 second passes with adding the weight this time. I had to go up against 2 full built vengeance racing 416 inch builds and only lost to them by 2ths. They were screaming the zl1 shouldn’t be allowed to run in the same class with them which was hilarious as the few of us there were all stock engines with bolt ons and all the v2 ctsv that ran were a minimum of heads cam packages a few on 416 inch engines ice boxes and drag packs. I still had my stock 20s on the front of it. Lol I think I’m the same weather I’m a drag pack setup away from 9.60s 145 mph range. Like to make a mark with this 1.7 that will stick awhile when I do swap to the larger blower which ever it might end up being. Waiting on this lt5 setup going on a v3 ctsv to see how it performs. The port injection in place and my cost of 4500 bucks for a fully dressed blower is looking better and better considering they have made over 1000whp so far on a stock heads and cam lt5 crate motor recently on only 18 psi. It’s everything else around the lt5 setup and making it work on a lt4 and seeing how much that’s going to entail and cost.
I know this 1.7 is going to go back to a heat pump come summer so all the fun and fast times will soon be limited to most likely low 10s again in the hotter weather and where the big blower no matter who’s make will really be able to make a huge difference over the little 1.7.
