I refuse to ever purchase a Pirelli tire again. I had a stock set of P-Zero on my Mustang GT Track Pack. The tires MAYBE lasted 10k, with normal driving. No tracking, burnouts, etc, as I had a drag setup for all that good stuff.

I wrote them a letter and mailed it. I explained that the tires were not only poor performing, but I expected a little bit more life out of a stock tire. Granted, with the 1LE I can't have the same expectations, but they're probably good for 5-7k depending on the abuse.

Pirelli wrote me a letter back basically telling me to pound sand. Not even an understanding, let alone some sort of coupon or remedy, and hell not even a cool sticker!

So, I've been quite happy with the Goodyear, Hankook, and Continental brand so far.
