For conversation's sake, I had a 2007 Mazdaspeed3 and it did really well at HPDEs and AutoX. It had economy car beginnings, but really was a good car. In fact, After Koni Yellows and sway bars I could hang with E36 and E46 M3s. I didn't even touch the brakes, just changed to DOT 4 fluid.

But I digress. I'm interested to hear more about the turbo 1LEs too. And you're right, for a relatively low price, the turbo 1LE is a lot of car.
