Shifts kind of like a sports bike if left to its own devices. I have done over 20 events, over 100 runs and experimented quite a bit. Leaving it in 2nd works, but is slower. I have a friend with an S2000. He is always bouncing off the rev limiter, concerned about the time it takes to shift up and then down and then upsetting the car. I am no longer worrying about that. I also get up to fourth in some events.
