There are a couple of reasons...one being if you plan on staying stock cam and need as much fuel volume as possible for E85. Then you might ask why E85, well in theory it will help the stock pistons and rings live being it helps cool the combustion, let alone the ability to make more power with less boost. I didn't want to tear into the motor right away, so in my case it made sense to grab the LPE pump. I am not going to get into the motor without doing pistons. That will be a potential project at a later date.
