I think this sums up the points the V6 fans were making. A ZL1 is a 'better' car compared to an SS, as an SS is to a V6. Everyone has personal reasons for their choice.
I bought a V6 RS convertible and couldn't be happier. It's my fair weather daily driver, if that makes sense, but an SS would be a complete waste of money and gas for me. For 99% of my typical driving here in north Jersey, I can't even push the V6 to full throttle. Too many other cars and cops. I paid cash for my car and could have paid cash for an SS, or even a ZL1, but in my case, it would be a complete waste of money.
