I just scanned through the lawsuit filing, explains and covers the issues with the A8 very well, still undecided if I will join due to the fact (like others have mention in other posts) about the $29.99 settlement check or free lifetime oil changes,(general example) that doesn't address the issue, there should be nothing less than a 'FIX' or replacement trans.
