Really the primary thing I wanted to prevent was paint damage. I've found a lot of swirl marks, buffer pad damage on trim pieces, etc. during my new vehicle deliveries...some of which drove me crazy the entire time I owned the car. So if I'm buying new, I'm not having the "detailers" at the dealership touch them!

Probably overkill to most, but for some reason it drives me crazy the lack of expertise/care involved sometimes. The car should be in equal or greater condition than it left the factory...not worse.

And of course I didn't want some young kid driving it to get fuel, abusing my baby, scraping my front end, etc...
I feel the same way. I hate to say this but at the dealer I purchased mine at there is an employee I used to work with. This employee does the PDI’s on the new vehicles. He’s a nice guy. But when I worked with the guy I witnessed some truly epic **** ups. I discreetly told the salesperson I did not want him or anyone for that matter touching the car. If anyone has to.......one guy there I can trust. But I plan to be there when it arrives.

I also paid for a paint protection package, that after further investigation, was a bad move on my part after I read some bad reviews after the fact.

Your car looks awesome!!! If you find there is stuff you are missing from the PDI like rear mats or manual sleeve, keep us updated. I myself would like to know in case I am missing stuff that I didn’t realize I should be getting.
