2K mileage is a laughably low amount of miles to make any determinations. The shudder often didnt appear until the better part of 20K miles on the earlier cars.
Except we already know the 10L80 is a pretty good transmission considering the Mustang has had it for 2 model years now.....granted their calibration caused some issues, but they haven't had anything like the A8 shudder or anything that rendered the car undriveable. It's also been in a few other vehicles if I'm not mistaken.

While it is slightly different than the 10L90, it's likely not much different design wise.....I've driven a ZL1 A10, the 10L80 shifts just as fast as the 10L90......

I'd also like to point out that the AFM is not the sole culprit. Many people also reported that when they zeroed out there slip tables the shudder went away.
