You can easily change this in the mylink menu.
Do a custom setup with you're preferred handling, suspension and exhaust note.
I leave my 1LE in sport mode for the more aggressive throttle map for DD with all my settings in track mode and my exhaust fuse pulled.
There is a thread on this forum that tells you exactly what each mode brings to the table. The four mains and the 5 hidden.
I believe it also tells you in the owners manual.

I do this too sometimes, but there is one variable that is tied to the Track
and PTM modes that you can't get in sport mode and that are the e-diff. settings.
There are 4 E-diff. modes and they are not accessible to change. The e-diff mode is different in the Track & PTM modes than it is in Sport mode. It is for this reason that when I am pushing the car around corners, I always use the PTM modes within Track mode even though I like the sport mode throttle mapping better.
The e-diff is optimized for stability in Sport mode, while the emphasis in Track mode and the PTM settings within track mode are optimized for cornering.
