The Exhaust note is no different in Sport or Track. In both the Valves are open. If you pull the fuse, you will have a louder startup and cold idle.
Track mode has a progressive throttle tune which isn't nearly as "jerky" and has other specs active that sport mode does not.
You can easily change this in the mylink menu.
Do a custom setup with you're preferred handling, suspension and exhaust note.
I leave my 1LE in sport mode for the more aggressive throttle map for DD with all my settings in track mode and my exhaust fuse pulled.
There is a thread on this forum that tells you exactly what each mode brings to the table. The four mains and the 5 hidden.
I believe it also tells you in the owners manual.
