I went with the same General tires (stock sizes for the SS) based on tire rack reviews and enzia's recommendation. I use them strictly as winter tires (southern NJ, so real snow is rare event). I have no lack of confidence in the grip and like the low noise. I would rather hear the exhaust note and the stereo than the run flat noise!
My main advice is watch for the rebate. General runs a rebate on purchase of 4 tires at least twice each year.
