As long as the length of the 'crushed section' isn't very much, it won't make much difference at all. Exhaust flow restriction mainly doesn't come from the pipes themselves, so you'd only be adding a little increase to the small part of the total.

Roughly, 1 psi of added "backpressure" is worth about 2% power. You'd only be adding a small fraction of a psi with any OE crushed section . . .
