Yes it adds weight, but it also adds significant traction benefits. GM doesn’t need to keep adding road course cars, every one wants them but they actually sell in very small numbers! I know if they did with a RWD mode everyone here who’s old school would complain until the test numbers come out and it crushes the competition in street/strip. Ya sure it’d be a bit slower on a track but honestly that’s what the 1LEs are for.
