This is why I bought my 2SS 1LE. The only things I don't like about the 1LE as a DD are how the wide tires follow grooves in the road and how it was cheaper to buy a junker winter car than it would have been to buy a set of wheels and all season tires. Oh.... and also cleaning brake dust twice a week loses its joy about a month in. Otherwise it's the first "big" car I've owned that I didn't want to dump in a ditch and replace with a tiny sports car. I didn't take my 1SS or 2SS test drives very seriously because I just wasn't feeling it. On a car/$ scale, I might have gone for a BRZ or Miata if I hadn't have test driven the 2SS 1LE. It was very much a gut feeling decision for me.

Also, I thought the HUD was a gimmick until I got used to it. Now I feel that having to look at the gauges behind the steering wheel is an annoying pain and takes my eyes off the road for too long. I'd be tempted to just not bother looking at them, but the "fuel" gauge moves around too much. Though, there is one thing that I hate about the HUD. When I have nav running, I get the turn countdown on the HUD, dash, and infotainment screen all at once.
