I agree the 1LE is a deal for what you get. It's a long list of stuff and the car looks way better vs the std SS as well. Even if track use isn't in the cards the mag ride, HUD, dual-mode exhaust and Recaro seats are really nice.
Downsides are a bit more money to replace tires and brakes, the rear diff and shocks cost more too. I don't think this is as significant as it used to be though, big tires and brakes are a lot more common and cost a lot less than they used to.
