Sorry for the slow updates. B&S Hacienda took the car last Tuesday and polished it back to its original shine. Whatever the residue was, it was too stubborn for a clay bar, so polish it had to be. Rick did me a solid by getting me a rental for the day to get to work and back. Will post pictures soon.
