This is an old thread, but I will add my 2 cents.
Coming out of a 2016 M3 with the rear-end hard mounted to the frame and into my SS 1LE, you could tell immediately that the rear-end liked to wag a little in transitions and quick lane change maneuvers.
I swapped the rear rubber cradle bushings for the ZL1 1LE solid cradle bushings and the rear-end was completely tamed.
I believe your issue was the flex in the rear cradle bushings.
