I don't like the look of the wires coming out of the phone charge adaptor sticking out of the 12V accessory outlet on top of the center console. I'd like to add an additional outlet somewhere unseen under the dash where I can plug in a dual adaptor and run the wires under the console to the sides of the seats where they will be easy to access and can be tucked away when not used. I see on on few posts that the center console can be lifted to tap into the purple wire connected to the existing accessory outlet. Does anyone know if this circuit can be accessed more easily under the dash to avoid the need to pull up the console?
