The comparison of cost vs warranty claim is spot-on. Even then, issues like the ignition switch, or Ford's transmissions coming out of park catch the manufacturers trying to knowingly cut corners to save a buck at the expense of the consumer.

Well, Chevy took the time to included 11 radiators on the ZL1 for tracking the car. The 6GEN SS they included brake cooling ducts for the owner to change out for tracking the car and also provided factory warranty for track use. There are several points I could continue on that would point that if it was a issue it was a cheap add. Also I pointed out that GM can build parts much cheaper or have them built much cheaper then some small group selling aftermarket parts so I think there is a lot of truth to my statement.
