Unless Rebel Rock decides to do the Michelin Encore at Sebring in November (I hope they do - to see them race and for their own sake in running the new tires), this thread is at a season close.
Road Atlanta:
Rebel Rock showed great pace and pole potential, but ended up in a few incidents of “argy-bargy” and ending up pulling out of the race with 25 minutes left due to steering damage (according to Robin Liddell). I originally thought it was a brake failure of the left front, due to a fire needing to be extinguished in the wheel well, but it appears that either is not the case or not the main cause.
I’m not sure what was going on with the #82 Bimmerworld M4 GT4 Team, especially James Clay (his line going into T6, that caused him to hit the #71 was very strange), but they were excessively aggressive towards the Camaro, Mustangs and the #28 Porsche. Nor, the #80 Mustang that literally pushed the #71 off track at T11.
