The converter shudder is not a transmission problem. If you have to replace a clutch in your M6 do you blame the transmission? People keep having issues because they don't want to void their warranty so they resort to GM's band-aid solution to the shudder. Supposedly a real fix is around the corner. Well there already is a fix if you don't care about warranty....tuning and or a good converter from Circle D or FTI fixes that problem. Have not heard of 1 person with a aftermarket converter having any issues.

Either way this is kind of off topic. Please don't get defensive. I am not saying putting a procharger on a M6 is a bad choice. I just think some things need to be changed to make the setup optimal is all...and currently it's not a cheap solution. M6 needs 4.30 gears with a 28" tire so it can reduce those 1800+ rpm shift extensions and stay up around 5500rpm on the gear change from a 6500rpm shift.
