Those Indy 500 tires are probably lighter than the stock F1s, and the Apex wheels he has them on are lighter than stock as well. Just that lower rotating weight is a performance change (for the better) by itself. Also I question whether the 500 is not any grippier than the F1. Thought that the 500 has gotten decent reviews from SS owners? Regardless, the rules for Bone Stock category specifically prohibit performance changes, and that car does have some performance changes made.
