Cons are you will lose warranty and you may have harder time selling it. Vortech and I believe Procharger are reversible, but of course you will spend more time and money undoing the changes if they needed to be done.
Unless you are a professional gear head, I'd have it installed and tuned professionally by someone who has done many LT1 in the past.
