What's your definition of expensive?
My guess is that it will be in the $16k-$18k range. I've heard a lot of people say they think this engine will be over $20k because the old LS9 was that expensive. Maybe if the LT5 had forged internals and titanium rods and valves like the LS9 but since it shares a lot of parts with the LT4, it likely won't be much more than that crate engine. You can get an LT4 for around $13k.
