Of these two, I would buy the I4.
The V6 is an excellent motor despite the much lower modding potential, it does pull if you wind it out (I had it). However, that car is a base model, and I for one would never be happy with the base gauge cluster and radio, the cloth seats are inferior, plus the HUD is awesome and the blind spot monitoring is very beneficial for first time Camaro drivers. Putting on an aftermarket exhaust can mitigate what the I4 lacks in the sound department, so there's that as well.
The other potentially important thing is the auto vs manual trans decision, because if I read this correctly, the V6 has the latter, so if you're a manual guy, there is no question about which one to choose. If you're like me (ie not overly excited by the prospect of shifting in traffic after all those years), the A8 is a good transmission and its only major flaw will hopefully have a permanent solution soon.
