Are you included track usage in that MPG average?
In ~5k miles I'm averaging about 23mpg in the 1LE (based on tripometer divided by fuel added, not the onboard computer). I have done a fair bit of highway but unless I limit myself to 70-72mph it doesn't get good mileage there. At 70-72 it gets great fuel eco though.
