JMS has two versions. They have a vacuum reference version (with Hobbs switch) and a pedal position version. I am referencing the pedal position version that uses the TPS to trigger the voltage boost. Can you confirm which version you have? If you have the TPS version then the harness comes with a plug end that plugs into the drive-by-wire throttle pedal. Perhaps you have the vacuum reference version thus no pedal harness?

The one I got does have a plug and play connector but also has two wires used for “activation” if I remember right. They need to be touched together and then separated or something. Maybe that’s what he is referring to.
