I don't think a reseller has anything to do with the OEM warranty. Sounds like you just got a bad unit. I guess I think of it like a TV or my refrigerator that just had problems. I didnt go to Best Buy, I had to go to the manufacturer.
I do get your frustration. I had a similar experience on my first Procharger. I ended up paying for an upgrade to make it right. But after I did the upgrade, I never had another problem.
