All in all, you need the new converter, the new fluid, zeroed out slip tables, and keep your car out of v4 mode to get rid of it for sure. You can *possibly* use a combination of these and never see it again, but it's not proven as nobody has had enough miles to show anything of it just yet.
I had the shudder, and 2 triple flushes later it was still there. My car was supposedly made with the new converter and fluid from the factory due to the build date.
I currently have almost 6k on a new TC, with new fluid. I've not let my car see V4 mode since the new tc, and the shudder isn't there at all. crossed fingers. knock on wood. etc.

I just wanted to put my story on here because I guess I'm the exception, not the rule. I had the shudder around 14k. Did the triple flush (and nothing else), and there was still some shudder. Took it back to the dealer and they said it needed another triple flush, so they repeated it.
Since the second triple flush, I've had zero problems for 10k miles. My car enters V4 mode and I can't tell the difference between V8 mode. I have a 2016 SS.
