Gear ratio in trans does not matter. 1:1 in trans.. but 3.xx:1 in the rear. it will never be 1:1. Any dyno operator should know how to get accurate RPM so graph plots correctly, rest is math dyno software can do. No need to go 205 mph on the dyno.. Since this is likely inertia dyno, you just need to make sure spool up time is enough to get good read, ie sufficient data points. Too low a gear and revs fly by, not good for data acquisition.


High hp cars benefit from load dyno vs inertia for good data collection.
