So Im beginning the early stages of my build today, dropped of my car to get headers installed and full e85 tune. Need less to say my heart was broken. Are these numbers accurate? after the runs my guy tells me I was getting some knock in 4th gear(A8) at about 6500-6600rpm which may have contributed to the lower HP number but damn, his DYNO runs on the low side with about a 25% loss which is what he told me. So my question still needs an answer. IS this the worst baseline ever??
OCT 3/2018 Update 1: Vehicle had baseline DYNO, My heart was broken soon after.
OCT 4/2018 Update 2: Vehicle got a baseline (free) the day before. Headers (ARH) will be installed today by same shop, and will be put on the same exact DYNO afterwords. Total modifications for this vehicle will be Headers, E85 flex kit/ tune, and K&N air filter(stock box is just fine for now). Vehicle should be going back on DYNO tomorrow after Headers get put on unless something happens. Currently working on getting Ryne at CMS to do remote Tune
OCT 5/2018 Update 3: Vehicle is back in my possession as we speak, so after speaking to shop, shop did mention to me that they ran it on gear 4 on accident, so on the updated DYNO sheet we have pulls on 4th and 5th gear. RYNE at CMS did a wonderful job with the Tune and Josh at JEP Autoworks did a phenomenal job as well with the install. Turns out that when when motor blew up at 800 miles, the people(s) *Cough Cough GM* who put it back together did a half ass job, o2 sensor seized up, bolts on headers were stripped, just a overall nightmare. Car runs like a champ right now. pretty impressive gains especially the torque
