CAMARO6 - View Single Post - My first 1/4 mile event with the ZL1 (Famoso)

I don’t usually post these types of things, but I was surprised and quite happy with my results last night. My friend wanted to get some passes in his Chevelle, so I decided to bring my car out.

My expectations were fairly low based on several factors: It was hot during the day, and I had to drive 2 1/2 hours to get there. That and the car is only lightly modified (catted headers, Roto-Fab intake, TM ported TB, 160 t-stat, and a lightly tweaked tune by me). I have not unlocked the TCM or messed with any torque coefficients, so I figured that would hold me back. I did come armed with a set of 305/45/17 ET Street R drag radials, though.

Anyway....all my passes were made in Sport Competitive Mode, with the suspension locked in Tour. I was ready to be disappointed, but in the end that didn’t happen. Overall, I’m very pleased considering it’s on stock boost and timing.

Here’s my best pass of the night. I have an upper pulley that I’m going to install soon, so hopefully I can improve on this. Oh, I’m #92:
