I saw a video about how its calculated in australia, and their numbers are calculated using only one method. If its not an average of the two in canada, then the advice given wont be accurate. I live in california and use only 91 (highest available). The car isnt happy at times with it, and i cant even imagine putting something lower in. Carrying an octane booster of some sort is annoying, but could be a good safeguard to prevent problems.
