Drag tire setup

I posted this in my whipple build thread, but wanted to bring it all together and share this info here as well. Below is the setup I put together with Mike at Kent's hot rod garage, Race Star Ind recommended them to help me with my set up.

Car: 2017 SS M6 Whipple 620/595.
Wheel and tire setup for 1/4 mile runs

Front
Wheels: Race Star 92's 17x4.50 5x120BC 1.75"BS GLOSS BLACK
Tires: M/T ET FRONT 27.5/4.0-17

Rear
Wheels: Race Star 92's 17x10.5 5x120BC 7" BS GLOSS BLACK
Tires: M/T ET STREET R BIAS 28x11.5-17

I currently run MMR M228 (gen 5 z28 replicas) and continental extremcontact tires. Going to this drag pack I will save 27 lbs at each rear corner, and 42 lbs at each front corner for a total of about 138 lbs just in wheels and tires, all rotating mass!

I will keep you posted as to how it goes once I get them installed and make some passes. On stock tires I went 2.098 60ft, 11.409et @ 128.18mph, we will see how it improves form there.
