if i am not mistaken that's what they make the 1ss for.
people who put big motors in cars aren't bent for cash and most certainly wouldn't shoot for an extremely watered down version unless they plan to really turn that thing inside out. which people do.
a lot of the people overacting about it are people who will never buy the car in the first place.
10 years from now we will have a 800hp zl1, 540 SS and near 400 v6 and people will still complain about what it does or doesn't need.
put the shoe on, if it fits, hit the check out line.. if not then move along!!
