Got it back today. The tire was replaced, the MRC software was updated. There is also one potential oddity that could have contributed. I recently had my wheels powder coated. Apparently the wheel shop mounted the right rear tire on the left rear wheel and vice versa. The dealer tech is not certain if that could have had the system reading the inputs wrong, since the tread is asymmetrical (tires are corner specific). But where that doesn’t make sense is if/when a different set of tires is used.

You may want to look into the MRC update. I'm noticing now that there is a bigger difference than I recall between modes. Could very well be that my car was drifting towards having little difference. I recall one situation where my wife asked me to take it out of Sport and put it in Tour because she didn't like the rough tracking. It was already in Tour. I put it in Sport and it didn't get any rougher and I put it back in Tour and it didn't get any smoother. I chalked it up to Michigan roads (they SUCK if you haven't heard). I happened to be driving in the same area Saturday and I noticed a big difference switching out of Sport into Tour. Thinking now that maybe my MRC lost its code somewhere along the line and I just became accustomed to it.
