Then again you have to pay to play with any hobby. The engines are getting more efficient and more powerful, the manufactures are dang near wringing every bit of power they can while staying with in the legal compliance they are mandated to as well.
You have to realize in the end, it is the sum of all of the gains. Some of those small gains will add up in the long run.

Deleting the primary cats is worth 10-15whp of those gains. Brandon Hill went 10.8 with CA performance delete's back with his bolt-on setup. He only gained half a tenth when he switched to headers. So it doesn't appear that LT headers benefit a bolt-on car like other platforms....at least it didn't for him. Now as you mod up and go heads/cam or FI, the gains will be more substantial for sure.
