I think in a modern car you don’t need this anymore.

Adjust seat further back at first, pull the should belt to force seat belt to lock, hold it to keep it locking, then adjust seat back to normal position where both should belt and lap belt would lock tightly and securely around your body until seat belt is released.

Despite all these, without good side bolster, one can still slide under high lateral g though.
