I have had mostly manual fun cars. Bought the A10. Don't regret it for a minute. The A10 is great in AutoX and in passing on secondary streets. It will drop 4 gears just like that.
It makes the engine act like it is naturally aspirated since, when you are hustling, the gearing always keeps the engine in its power band. Can't do that with a manual. When competing, I always hear cars bouncing off their rev limiters since it is not worth shifting up, only to shift down going into a curve with a manual car.
I use the paddle shifters for around town. It provides some engagement. Not as much as the manual in my old GT3, but it is still fun.
For city traffic and racing, the A10 is as good as everyone says.
