Since I ordered it the way I did it would leave all the cats. You would cut the stock exhaust right behind the second set of cats, which after seeing them are more like resistors. I have 2" headers with no cats, so honestly there was a drone at about 1400 rpm to 1700 rpm. I believe with cats or resistors it would not have been as noticeable. It did not bother me as much as my wife, but I have always had loud cars. I loved the sound but it was a little much for the wife, so I switched to something with NPP again. Happy wife, happy life.
