I will remove the shrouding on the two hood heat extractors and I'll probably add in a metal heat shield between the driver's header and the air filter. At some point I can see a pusher fan in front of the intercooler just to keep air always moving thru.
This LT1 gen 6 Camaro seems to run hot in the engine compartment vs any car I ever owned, including a 440 Dart. I've been working on a slow A/C leak so I'm under the hood more than I care to be and it is just a BALL of HEAT, there. I may even look at wrapping my headers (not something I like). and / or an after market hood with vents of any type.

Good ideas there. I wonder if my setup actually does make a difference with all the air hitting my intercooler. I removed the plastic piece in the lower part of the bumper also. The race air to air does seem significantly larger too.
