Hi,
I don't see how is it that under the full factory warranty the dealer will not replace a body part that has broken by non-collision, non-abuse means. I recently discovered that the top clip mount on the driver's side dive plane cracked, where the clip would fit on the plane to secure it to the fender. It is now loose, just stuck in the slot and not clipped in place.
I will be taking the car in to my dealer for warranty repair, and I'm sure they will cover the issue, as it's apparent there was absolutely no external damage done to the dive plane to cause this issue. My car has only 2,200 miles, and is less than a year old. I guess we'll see when I get a chance to drive it down there for them to examine.
I'll update everyone, since this has been mentioned a few times on this site.
JJ
