Incorrect...

The Camaro gas tank is 19.8 gallons. Some places in the USA sell 10% ethanol gas on all grades, 87 thru 93. Texas has 91 E10 and 93 E10 on their pumps.

If you want to run some E85 in the tank you can run 2 but no more than 3 gallons of E85 to a tank of 91/93 octane gas. This will get you to E10 and the car will drive just fine with no issues.

The only bad is you wont have any way to see how much Ethanol you need for subsequent fill ups unless you keep a spread sheet. If you know how many gallons it takes from a certain point on the gas guage then you can add 10% E85 in order to keep the ratio at 10%.

I know that at the half mark on my gas gauge it takes me 10g to fill up, so I could add 1g of E85 in first, then add 9g of 91/93 pure gas to the mix and it will keep me at 91/93 E10 ratio.
