Don't know about inspection but lets get this clear...

When you put Headers on your car, you ditched ALL FOUR factory cats. Primaries (Which are packed and monitored) and the secondaries (Which are empty chambers and not-monitored) — all gone. What you got was a pair of High Flow cats, made by Kooks, that is packed and monitored and goes about in the location of the factory secondaries (Just behind the collector). When the Kooks HF cats blew out, the stuff went into your factory X pipe and crushed piping and managed to get pushed all the way out the Corsa. There's NO WAY for you to know for sure if there's more in the X or crushed pipes or Corsa baffling. Unless X-raying exhaust pipes is a thing...Your only option is to either hope and pray it's all clear and you don't burn something down. Or get an entire new setup.

I would order the Kooks X pipe, that will bolt straight to your headers, and you should be able to use your now hollow connection pipes (Which are best of both worlds, passes visual inspection but doesn't have packing inside) and run that back to Corsa which you should blow out and see if you can get a snake camera down it. That's the setup for you. $1000 for the X pipe is right inline with what most Header X pipes are.
