Looks like damage from body rub. I don’t have memory seats on my 1LE, so I move the seat all the way back when I get out and move it back into driving position after I gently “fall” in without dragging across the bolster. With memory seats, you can set 1 to your regular driving position and 2 to “exit” mode.
Talk to your dealer about fixing this under warranty, and then change your approach and landing in the car!
