What about the air noise it makes when it engages 4 cyl at low speeds? I assume this is when there is a certain volume of air inside the intake manifold and then you cut half the displacement and you get a air backfire out of the intake?
But it almost sounds like the noise is coming from the exhaust? Either way what's weird is that you never hear the noise when it switches on the highway. I'm not even sure looking at the tables in HP tuners how AFM is engaged? Weather it is torque based or not? There is no scaler table controlling engagement, only hysteresis and temp settings?
