If I remember TSP's stance on it correctly, because these kinds of scenarios come up with ls3 vehicles as well, TSP doesn't want to sell camshafts that require flycutting, because they do not believe that the average owner does not want to flycut their pistons, so they cater their products towards that.
The VVT-3 is 235/239 116+4. Puts you back and IVO of 6* BTDC as I mentioned above. People get hung up on advertised cam specs. They are only a representation of valve event. The events are what matter as you know.
