Let me clarify. When cruising, open road hwy, cruise control one it's almost silent. My guess is that has more to do with the cylinder deactivation and those stupid values further upstream than the system itself.
The moment you crack the throttle you know it's there loud and clear.. If you drive with the paddles and keep it out of 4cyl mode it sounds awesome.
