I hear you and know about the old Yenko. It was a dealership a long time ago that made their own creations with GM's blessing.
I am just in awe of the power available in today's market and that it is reliable and with warranties. Even another Chevrolet dealer available Camaro is the Callaway with warranties. The fact that GM allows this shows me that GM has flexibility and backs high horsepower for the average person.
Sure things can be upgraded by an individual but they won't get their money out of it if sold like a Yenko/Callaway. But then they get the fun of creating something on their own which I have done also.
